What we choose to focus our attention on increases in our lives. This is truth; this is law.
With the recent news and focus on COVID-19, it is vitally important that we choose to direct our attention wisely.
We all have the choice and the responsibility for what our attention rests upon.
As a cherished song writer reminds us –
“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery
None but our self can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
‘Cause none of them can stop the time…”
Uncontrolled attention often results in fear. Fear can immobilize, it can cause, well, look around the media…
The opposite of fear is love. The feeling of love dissipates fear.
Love and compassion are blessings that are in great need during times of turmoil and unrest.
Give generously in this regard.
This too shall pass.
Relax. Meditate. Offer prayers, blessings and thanksgiving for all that is good in your life.
Keep your attention focused on that which you desire in your life.
“…whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”
