Ebates: I have been using Ebates for over two years. It is one of the easiest ways I know to make money. All you have to do is create an Ebates account and sign in. You can use my referral link. Then choose the store you are planning to shop at. Often there will be discount codes on the Ebates site you can use. Click on the store name and shop as usual. Building a Framework: One of the first things I did after setting up my website was take Abby Lawson’s Building a Framework course. I had no technical experience and this course helped out so much in that area. I also found is essential to help me really understand all of the basics of setting up a blog. I find myself referring to it again and again since this is all so new still!
Getting Traffic
Pinteresting Strategies: I highly recommend the book Pinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell. As a new blogger, I was getting anywhere from 30 – 80 page views a day. A few weeks after implementing Carly’s strategies I had 565 pagviews in one day. It dropped back to the 80 – 100 range for a few days and then went from 173 four days later to 1254 the next day! Remember that it is normal for pageviews to vary from day to day. This is a manual pinning strategy, meaning that it is free!
Pinterest Ninjas: Pinterest Ninjas is a course that will give you a manual strategy as well as a strategy for Tailwind, which is a paid scheduler. If you are looking to free up some time this is for you! Megan is extremely helpful and has answered my questions within hours.
